Ceasor Salad

  • 1 large romaine lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1 slice of white bread
  • 50ml of cottage cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 table spoon mint sauce.
  • 1 garlic clove.

  • Rub the oil into the bread and season with a little salt if you like and cook till it turns brown slightly.
  • Rub cottage cheese with remaining oil, season. Place pan over a medium heat for 1 min, until hot, but not smoking. Lay the cottage cheese on the pan (it will sizzle if it’s hot enough) and leave for 1 mins. Turn the cottage cheese, then cook for 1 mins more.
  • Bash the garlic with the flat of a knife and peel off the skin. Mix all the ingredients except lettuce together in a large bowl.
  • Tear lettuce into large pieces and put in a large bowl. Put the mixed ingredients together in the bowl over the lettuce and serve.
